about the artist:
im blueycitrus (25yo), sometimes bluey, and i draw mostly pinup and comic illustrations. i have a degree in illustration and have a background in art history as well as classical training in drawing. im not extremely talkative online but im always excited to talk about art.
General terms
PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED ONLY THROUGH PAYPAL.NOTIFY ME WHEN PAYMENT IS SENT.You must be 18+ to commission me, even if the comm is for a sfw project. My page is 18+ and i would expect my commissioners to be that age. I retain the right to decline a commission for any reason.By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my terms of service, which are subject to change at any time without personal warning, which is to say that i reserve the right to change what i am and am not willing to draw as makes sense to me, as well as reserving the right to change pricing as necessary. I begin sketching after payment is received. Haggling over price with me will result in an immediate refusal of the commission.For commission requests over $30, payment can either be paid in full or with a minimum of 50% up front. For commissions that are only paid 50% up front, the final delivery of the piece will be delivered after the remaining payment is received.
My turnaround and completion speed can generally extend up to 3-4 weeks. Complexity, edits, client communication, and other factors can lengthen this. Sketch comms are generally an exception to this, and are most likely to take no more than 7 days depending on the complexity of the sketch and the number of comms currently open.Details regarding design, pose, and expression should be established in detail before i begin sketching in order to reduce error. For commissions that are more than a sketch, you will be sent a preview of the sketch to confirm the design, pose, and expression and make changes before any deeper work begins. Previews for the flats will also be made available to confirm color choice and other details. Changes must be formatted in a list with all changes listed in one message.For sketch commissions, you will be sent a preview before the full size image, and you can ask for edits to the pose, design, or expression if a revision is needed. Further changes may incur a charge after the first revision.
I retain the copyright to each image I create unless our contract specifies otherwise - currently, I do not offer commercial rights for commissions. Commercial use (merchandise, prints, etc) of commissioned pieces is not permitted.
Tracing or editing of commissioned work is not permitted unless you are the client. Profiting from my work without a mutually consensual contract is prohibited and illegal.Full refunds can be requested before sketching is started. Partial refunds are permitted and will reflect the amount of work completed. Cancellation after the sketch, lineart, or flats stage (depending on commission type) will result in a refund that is in line with the cost of the commission tier alongside any adjustments for complexity.Please contact me for any inquiries.
Commission Process
Commissions requests will only be accepted if sent during a timeframe when i have announced that my comms are open.

Fill out the Google Form with details regarding your commission request
If accepted, i will send you an email with a pricing estimate based on the nature of the request, with whatever modifications to pricing that are deemed necessary. Approve or decline as necessary.
If approved, i will add you to the commission queue and send you a rough sketch as well as a paypal invoice with the details of the commission as well as an abbreviated version of my terms of service and a link to my full terms.
I’ll send you an update for approval at the sketch phase as well as other phases as applicable. See terms for timeline.
You approve of the finished artwork. If there is a request for changes, i will make small changes as needed. Major changes will incur a fee.
I will send you the full-size artwork as a png with my signature somewhere on the image. If allowed, I may post a lower-resolution version on my social media.

Special provision
As has been asked in the past, i will also draw additional pages/panels to existing posts in my twitter/pixiv/bluesky gallery. Pricing for these will be slightly different to other comms since it has inherent complexity outside of normal comms (backgrounds, possibly multiple characters, etc)
If something that you want is not listed in either category, feel free to ask about it. i cant imagine and list every possible scenario. i may still decline if i am uncomfortable with the prompt, but it doesnt hurt to shoot your shot.

Pricing reflects single character commissions with a simple, solid color or simple shape background.
Backgrounds are typically either default to either pure white or at 50% value grey.
For full body sketches, the basic price covers a single character for two sketches/poses. Half body sketches reflect a single character for one sketch/pose.
Simple background of can be a flat color, a pattern, or some approximate, flat shapes have no additional charge to the comm.
Prices start at $8 for a flat background with some detail and $15 for a fully rendered background. Details regarding backgrounds will be discussed more thoroughly during the commissioning process.
Intricate character design may also increase the price, depending on the level of complexity.
